I splurged and got my self the Blu Ray edition. EXCUSE ME WHILE I SPEND THE NEXT MILLION HOURS OGLING *___*

I have yet to see the fourth one. I'm sure I've seen at least parts of the previous one/s though over the years on tele. Blu-ray really can make a difference with some films/series though! I noticed it quite a bit with Battlestar Galactica's re-imagining but that was possibly partly because of the film-grain effect used in that.

I saw the fourth one not expecting much since I was less than impressed with the second one and didn't see the third on at all. And then it completely blew me away and I ended up seeing it three times in theaters. Seeing Blu ray compared to regular DVD is incredible.

It can make a difference, I have noticed, especially with animated films which is why I am collecting Disney on blu-ray with the recent re-releases. I'll have to rent the series at some point to watch through if it was apparently that good, haha.
